Welcome to Sleepy Hollow. Population 436.
May you never leave!

Tilted Wig, Malvern Theatres and Churchill Theatre are thrilled to announce a new touring production, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow - a spooktacular theatrical event, unleashing the Headless Horseman on stages across the country!
Washington Irving’s classic tale has been adapted by acclaimed playwright Philip Meeks, starring the incredible Wendi Peters and Bill Ward, this is a heart-pounding stage spectacle, bursting with jaw-dropping illusions.

With Hallowmas celebrations fast approaching, the residents of Sleepy Hollow spin tall tales of legends and unsightly entities. But who can tell truth from nightmare?

Ichabod Crane enters an eerie world of secrets and unsettling tradition as he arrives in Sleepy Hollow to become the town teacher. While quickly finding friendship with the town patriarch and his spirited daughter, his presence is not wholly welcome.

But not all is as it seems, for Ichabod Crane harbours his own dark secret. He is not in Sleepy Hollow by chance. When disturbing events overwhelm the small town, he finds himself swept up in a dangerous mystery which leaves him doubting his own sanity.

Coronation Street legends Wendi Peters and Bill Ward lead an incredible ensemble in this thrilling new adaptation.
Wendi Peters (Big! The Musical; Coronation Street) plays Mariette, Bill Ward (Everybody’s Talking About Jamie; Emmerdale) plays the town's patriarch, Baltus. Sam Jackson (Skins, E4; Beautiful Thing, National Tour) takes on the role of Ichabod Crane. Rose Quentin (York Witches Society, MSR Media) plays Katrina, Lewis Cope (Vera, ITV; Witness for the Prosecution, London County Hall) plays Brom "bones" Van Brunt, and Tommy Sim’aan (As You Like It, Sam Wanamaker Playhouse; Doctors, BBC) completes our ensemble taking on the role of Joost de Groot.

The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will be appearing at Malvern Festival Theatre from Tuesday 2nd to Saturday 6th November. Tickets are on sale at the Box Office 01684 892277 and online at
