Male Voice Choir at Pershore Abbey

Established in 1987, Worcester Male Voice Choir has raised more than £200,000 for local Charities. Emerging from the national pandemic, the Choir is keen to reestablish its programme of concerts. On Friday 10th and Saturday
11th December, led by its inspiring Musical Director, Scott Wolfenden and Accompanist, James Jarvis, the Choir will sing at Pershore Abbey. Each concert will commence with a secular programme followed by a more traditional Christmas theme after the interval, including audience participation.
Once again Keith Hearnshaw will entertain on the organ, whilst Ella Holland, Soprano, will present a gentle counterpoint to the massed voices of the Choir. Singing at private functions as well as public concerts, the Choir has a wide ranging repertoire and regularly tours both at home and abroad. Members enjoy an active social programme, not least being post-concert convivial ‘afterglows’, often in a local tavern.

New members are always welcome, no prior singing knowledge is necessary, as are
visitors to rehearsals on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Angel Centre, Worcester.
